School Council

We have a vibrant School Council at Clifton Hill!

Every September, classes vote for their Council representative and deputy. The Council meets every other week and they discuss and make decisions about topics based around the School Development Plan. We cover areas such as bullying, English as an Additional Language, Life skills beyond school, healthy eating and fundraising/charities. The Council aims to influence the school through assemblies, fundraising events, topic displays and feedback to the Governors and Leadership Team.

The Council liaises regularly with other School Councils and enjoys sporting activities with them.  In the summer, all the school councils join together for a conference at a Hotel where they do a presentation on what they have achieved the previous year.

Minutes of the School Council can be found on the Learning Platform.
