What is Face2Face?
Face2Face offers support to parents and carers who have a child or young person with additional needs and/or a disability.
Being a parent carer can be challenging and sometimes it can feel isolating and like you are the only one going through this.
Face2Face volunteer befrienders are parent carers themselves who have completed a training programme to enable them to offer emotional support to others. Our befrienders offer a listening ear at any stage when feelings become overwhelming and it is difficult to talk to people around you.
Befriending is a completely free service which can last for 1 session or up to 12 months and it is very flexible to suit the needs of you and your family. If you think you may be interested or would like to find out more please contact the Face2Face Co-ordinator.
Face2Face Coffee Mornings
Face2Face run regular coffee mornings at Clifton Hill which are an informal opportunity for Clifton Hill parents and carers to come and meet each other in a relaxed and friendly environment and share experiences over a coffee.
Different speakers and special needs community groups attend these meetings over the year. These supporters are carefully selected to match the needs of parents indicated in the school’s annual needs and training survey.
Please visit the Calendar for details of forthcoming Coffee Mornings
