Student Achievement

At Clifton Hill School, the learning and achievement of our students is at the heart of everything we do. Each student’s progress is assessed on an on-going basis against P-Levels or in some cases National Curriculum levels 1 and 2 as appropriate. Please see the below for more information on Understanding Assessment Levels.

In the Upper School, all students at Clifton Hill work towards a range of accredited qualifications. Progress is recorded against assessment criteria throughout the curriculum, and evidence is externally moderated.

The Upper School Curriculum shows how significant differentiation is applied to ensure that each of our student’s needs are met.

In September 2014, we introduced a new accreditation scheme in order to provide challenge and ambition for our more able and talented students.  In place of Asdan Towards Independence we introduced Asdan Personal and Social Development.
