Job Title: Senior Teaching Assistant
Pay Scale: Surrey Pay 5
Full time: 35.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year term time only ( 08:30 until 16:30 ( 15:30 on Fridays) with 45 minutes per day for lunch.
Full time equivalent salary £19,245 – £21,796 (actual salary £16,063 to £18,519 per annum). Fixed term contract to 31 August 2019.
Clifton Hill is a lively, friendly, successful special school for students aged 11-19 with severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders or profound and multiple learning difficulties/complex needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and energetic senior teaching assistant to support the class teacher in securing high quality learning for our students. You need to be ambitious for our students and yourself, willing to learn new skills and able to work as part of a team. Experience of working with people with special needs is essential.
